Strategies are needed that can reduce the level of anxiety experienced by students. The activity of singing dangdut koplo can reduce anxiety levels because the characteristics produced by dangdut koplo can make those who listen to it and even sing it feel happy.

Objective: To determine the effect of dangdut koplo singing activities on the anxiety level of final semester students who are still writing their theses at the University of Indonesia Maju.

Method: This research uses the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) anxiety level questionnaire, a pre-experimental method with a one-group pre/post-test design approach, and a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling model. The research was conducted at the University of Indonesia Maju from November to February 2023 with a total sample of 15 final-year nursing students. Data collection using the HARS anxiety questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate tests, the Sapiro – Wilk normality test, and the Wilcoxon test as a bivariate test.

Results: The research results showed that 10 students (66.6%) experienced mild anxiety before being given the Dangdut Koplo singing treatment. After being given the Dangdut Koplo treatment, as many as 8 students (53.3%) experienced a decrease in their anxiety level, namely, they did not experience anxiety. Based on the results of data processing using the Wilcoxon test, the results obtained were (p=0.001).

Conclusion: There is an influence of singing dangdut koplo on the level of anxiety in final-year nursing students.
Ayu Dwi Safitrhi, Marisca Agustina, Nurul Ainul Shifa Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Complementary Nursing https://journals.sagamediaindo.org/index.php/JCN/article/view/122 Sun, 01 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000 The Effect of Lullaby Music Therapy on the CTG Rhythm of Pregnant Women in the Third Trimester https://journals.sagamediaindo.org/index.php/JCN/article/view/114
Introduction: CTG is a tool used to monitor fetal activity and heart rate, as well as uterine contractions while the baby is in the womb. Pharmacological treatments such as sedative-hypnotic drugs such as Zolpidem, Tradozon, Lorazepam, Phenobarbital, Diazepam, Clonazepam, and Amitripilin will have side effects such as impaired thinking coordination, impaired mental function, dependence, and are toxic. Non-pharmacological treatment includes treatment that is safe, effective and without side effects, such as complementary therapy which includes natural medicine therapy. Complementary therapy can be done using herbal therapy, nutritional therapy, relaxation, meditation, laughter therapy, acupuncture, aromatherapy, reflexology, and hydrotherapy.

Objectives: To determine the effect of non-pharmacological treatment by soaking warm water on the feet on insomnia in the elderly at the UPTD Puskesmas Pasir Putih, Depok City in 2023

Method: This research is quantitative analytical research with an experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test pre-experiment design. The sample in this study was all elderly people who experienced insomnia at the UPTD Pasir Putih Health Center, Depok City, totaling 30 elderly people using a total sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire and warm water. The data is primary data analyzed using the T-test.

Result: It is known that the average level of insomnia in elderly women before being soaked in warm water was 21.60 with a standard deviation of 1.499. It is known that the average level of insomnia in elderly women after being soaked in warm water is 14.97 with a standard deviation of 0.890. The effect of non-pharmacological treatment of soaking warm water on the feet on insomnia in elderly women with a p-value of 0.000.

Conclusion: There is an effect of non-pharmacological treatment by soaking warm water on the feet on insomnia in elderly women at the UPTD Puskesmas Pasir Putih, Depok City in 2023.
Wahyu Triningsih, Salfia Darmi Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Complementary Nursing https://journals.sagamediaindo.org/index.php/JCN/article/view/112 Sun, 01 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000 The Effect of Autogenic Relaxation Techniques on Anxiety Levels in Facing the End of Semester Assessment https://journals.sagamediaindo.org/index.php/JCN/article/view/118
Background: The achievement of student learning progress at the end of the semester is measured by assessing student learning outcomes. In undergoing the final semester assessment, many students experience anxiety. The anxiety experienced by students towards the end of the semester is one of the distractions in everyday life, especially when studying. Many students complain of difficulty concentrating, remembering, and solving problems while studying. Students also often complain of emotional exhaustion.

Objectives: To determine the effect of autogenic relaxation on the level of anxiety facing the end-of-semester assessment in class XI IPS 4 students at SMAN 1 Gunung Putri.

Methods: This research is quantitative with a pre-experimental design method with a one-group pretest-posttest design.
